Free QR Icon Maker--Way cool business tool

To use QR codes on your business cards and other things, you'll need a couple of tools. 1st, you need to install a QR scanner app on your phone. Search the net for "QR Reader" and the model of your smart phone to find a scanner app; they're available for the iPhone, Windows Mobile, Nokia, BlackBerry, and other app-based phones with a camera.

This free QR icon machine can embed a URL, text, a phone number, or an addressed and ready-to-send SMS message into a QR code.

Warning: When you're generating a QR code: the more data you cram into your code, the smaller its pixels will be, and the more sensitive the scanners will have to be to read it accurately. Second, if you're encoding a URL, make sure it's a site that will load well on a mobile phone browser.

Why has HIV AIDS grown to such an epidemic proportion? Are the effects of HIV AIDS on the economy greater than the other types of diseases? How is HIV AIDS similar to or different from other highly communicable diseases? What are the scientists and the specialists doing to end this curse?

Right now these questions are still unanswered by the specialists and may remain such for quite sometime. What we can do as laymen is to get all the information we can gather about this disease for better understanding of its devastating effects and improving our preparedness for any eventuality.

Knowledge about this disease will help us have a better perception of the disease, not only as a way to avoid contracting it but also to be able to impart this understanding to others and be able to better deal with situations in the event that we come face to face with real people inflicted with the disease.

HIV infection has four stages. After two to six weeks from contracting the virus, symptoms that resemble the ones of the flu can appear. This way, the infected person can feel nausea, fever, night sweating, fatigue, and altered general state, headaches, muscle pain, etc. There are patients who do not mind these symptoms, or the symptoms simply do not appear. For the correct diagnosis of the HIV AIDS, it is necessary that special tests be conducted.

The second phase is where the virus begins to multiply. This phase progress slowly and could last for a number of years. The infected person will not show any physical symptoms of the infection, but their mental and emotional state could get a beating. Those who do not know they are infected will not feel any indications of the infection.

The third stage of this awful disease is called Aids Related Complex, also known as ARC. During this period, things and general state change for the infected individual. The symptoms they experience are pretty much the same, if not identical with acute infection. The worst part is that the symptoms do not disappear this time. They persist and they make their presence known, so the infected person experiences them at another level.

Now we come to the final stage of HIV which is now the AIDS phase. By now, the patient's compromised immune system is still being assaulted by opportunistic infections. Under normal circumstances of a healthy immune system, these infections could be readily resisted. However, as the patient's immune system continues to deteriorate, so thus the body's capacity to fight this otherwise common germs and bacteria.

The scientists have presented a new theory that it could be possible that some HIV patients will not develop the disease. However, this theory remains to be such - a theory, which has not been confirmed to date. Diseases developed during the third and fourth phase of the the HIV infection, can no longer be treated. Medication can only delay their progress and can only work until the immune system is still functioning. As soon as the immune system totally collapses, thus follows the demise of the patient.
