A healthy blood pressure reading of 120 over 80 says your cardiovascular system is operating properly and doing just fine. On the other hand, readings of 120-139/80-89 are an indication of pre hypertension, and you need to know this before damage is done.

How To Control Blood Pressure

I was not eating at all and when I did eat, it was a very painful experience. During that ten months, my doctor began treating my high blood pressure. He noticed that my blood pressure was getting way to high so he put me on medicine. My blood pressure stayed high and for months the pills were not helping.
You should follow a high blood pressure diet. Your doctor should have one available for you. You may find you have restrictions for some foods that other people with hypertension do not, each case is individual, and each person has different sensitivities to foods.
Something to keep in mind is if your taking medicine for high blood pressure, it can occasionally cause a momentary drop in blood pressure resulting in similar symptoms. Consequently, if your regularly taking this kind of medication it is a good idea to carefully select the time of day you take your medication and to try to stick to the same schedule everyday to minimize the resulting effects of dangerous blood pressure.
