Free QR Icon Maker--Way cool business tool

To use QR codes on your business cards and other things, you'll need a couple of tools. 1st, you need to install a QR scanner app on your phone. Search the net for "QR Reader" and the model of your smart phone to find a scanner app; they're available for the iPhone, Windows Mobile, Nokia, BlackBerry, and other app-based phones with a camera.

This free QR icon machine can embed a URL, text, a phone number, or an addressed and ready-to-send SMS message into a QR code.

Warning: When you're generating a QR code: the more data you cram into your code, the smaller its pixels will be, and the more sensitive the scanners will have to be to read it accurately. Second, if you're encoding a URL, make sure it's a site that will load well on a mobile phone browser.

Nearly 300,000 American children have arthritis in some form, and the most common form is Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. JRA, as it is also know, affects nearly 50,000 United States children.

The origin of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in the body is still a mystery, but many reasearchers believe is is an autoimmune disease. An autoimmune disease causes the body's immune system to attack itself, which produces to many cytokines. As a result, areas of the body become inflamed. Cytokines are chemical signals used for communication between cells, and are important for immune system responses.

Researchers believe the key to controlling, or slowing down the degeneration of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis is to learn how to control cytokine production. Those involved in holistic healthcare practices believe the key to controlling cytokine production is connected to the diet.

Ingesting fruits high in vitamin C provides great benefit for children suffering from arthritis. These fruits, such as blackberries, raspberries, kiwis, strawberries, mango, apples, and cantaloupe melon, all have phytochemicals, which help fight inflammation.

Vegetables that are high in vitamin A (beta-carotene) and vitamin C are also helpful in fighting inflammation. These include: broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, collard greens, kale, spinach, squash, and sweet potatoes.

Along with fruits and vegetables, it is wise to eat foods and supplements high in Omega-3 fatty acids. Certain types of fish, such as herring, mackerel, salmon, trout, and sardines, are included in this, but it's recommended to only consume 3 ounce portions for children younger than 16. Look for mercury-free fish whenever possible in order to avoid potential health problems.

Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis usually shows up between ages 6 months and 16 years, and there are three major types. The majority of the time, the first signs of the disease are warm, reddened joints, and swelling.

1. Polyarticular arthritis -- Swelling or pain in 5 or more joints (hips, knees, ankles, feet and neck); low-grade fever; bumps or nodules on the body. 2. Pauciarticular arthritis -- Swelling or pain in 4 or fewer joints; inflammation of the iris. 3. Systemic arthritis -- Affects the entire body; may include high fevers; sudden onset then sudden disappearance of rash; enlarged spleen and lymph nodes; joint pain, swelling and stiffness.

To effectively manage and minimize the effects of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, an early and accurate diagnosis is essential. If your child is diagnosed with JRA, it's important for you to educate yourself about the various symptoms and characteristics so you can help your child maintain an active and productive lifestyle. If any of the above symptoms arise, contact your healthcare provider and express your concerns. To diagnose Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, your doctor will need to take a detailed medical history and conduct a thorough physical examination, along with diagnostic blood tests.
