Free QR Icon Maker--Way cool business tool
To use QR codes on your business cards and other things, you'll need a couple of tools. 1st, you need to install a QR scanner app on your phone. Search the net for "QR Reader" and the model of your smart phone to find a scanner app; they're available for the iPhone, Windows Mobile, Nokia, BlackBerry, and other app-based phones with a camera. This free QR icon machine can embed a URL, text, a phone number, or an addressed and ready-to-send SMS message into a QR code.
Warning: When you're generating a QR code: the more data you cram into your code, the smaller its pixels will be, and the more sensitive the scanners will have to be to read it accurately. Second, if you're encoding a URL, make sure it's a site that will load well on a mobile phone browser.

If you're going away on holidays and have made the decision to leave your pet feline in a cattery, there are a number of things to prepare before taking them in to the facility. Hopefully you have selected an optimal cat boarding centre, one that has caring staff who will nuture your furry friend, with good food, comfortable enclosures and a veterinarian available to come in 24 hours a day.
Once the specific centre has been selected, there are a number of things that need to be organised, and I'm not talking about which bathers will look best on the beach, or whether to packing 2 pairs of sneakers. Ensuring everything is prepared for your cats stay in the cattery will make his or her time is as successful and enjoyable as possible. And your pet is worth it!
Firstly, if your cat is on a special diet, you will need to have this relevant food to provide to the cattery staff when you drop off your pet. Make sure there is enough to last the entire duration of your trip. I'd even recommend putting in a little extra to be sure the staff don't run out. If the cat isn't on a special diet but is a fussy eater, find out if they have the types of food your cat DOES like, and if not, stock up and take this along with you.
Secondly, provide all relevant medical papers for your cat, including whether your cat has been desexed, proof of vaccinations and any allergies or medical problems. You may also wish to provide the phone number of your cat's veterinarian in case of emergency although this isn't totally necessary if the cat boarding facility has a vet available 24 hours a day.
It's recommended that you nominated a guardian for the cat who can make any necessary decisions while you're away on your trip. It is unlikely that anything will happen that requires any decision making, but in case it does, provide the cattery with this persons contact details. If you're going to be contactable then it's fine to give your phone number and you can make any decisions directly.
Finally, your cat is going to be in a foreign environment, and early on may be a little anxious in this unfamiliar territory. If he or she has a favourite blanket or another item, bring this along to the cat boarding centre. Do not wash it, as the familiar smell and feel will help your pet feel relaxed and at home. That's all for meow.
