Here are just a few of most common, highly toxic plants:

AVOID THESE!

Lilies - Highly toxic to cats, causing kidney damage
English ivy - Toxic to both cats and dogs
Pothos - Causes irritation and inflamation of mouth, tongue and GI tract
Oleander - One of the most poisonous plants! Can be fatal to animals and people!

CAUTION: This list is by no means complete. These are simply the most commonly reported to veterinarians and animal poison control.

If you ever believe that your pet has eaten something poisonous, please immediately contact your veterinarian or call the ASPCA’s Animal Poison Control Center’s 24-hour emergency hotline at (888)-426-4435.
